Gintaras Antanavicius, MD, received his Medical Doctrine from Vilnus University Medical School, in his home country of Lithuania. Dr. Antanavicius, who speaks English, Lithuanian and Russian, came to the U.S. for his postgraduate studies and has recently joined Jefferson Abington Hospital's Institute for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery.

Luca Giordano, MD, received his Medical Doctrine from the University of Rome ‘La Sapienza,’ in 1998. He is a board-certified surgeon in general surgery and is fellowship trained in Minimally Invasive and Bariatric surgeries. He is also director of Bariatric, Gastrointestinal & Colorectal, Minimally Invasive and Robotics surgeries for Jefferson Health – Northeast.

Kristin M. Noonan, MD, is a board-certified surgeon with a concentration in minimally invasive and bariatric surgery, and is fellowship trained in both. She has held academic appointments as an instructor of surgery at the Medical College of Wisconsin and the University of Pennsylvania, and was a research fellow at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School.

Candice R. Chipman, MD, received her Medical Doctrine at Meharry Medical College in Nashville. She completed her Fellowship in Bariatric Surgery at Jefferson Abington Hospital, and she is a board-certified surgeon specializing in Bariatrics and General Surgery.
The Institute for Bariatric and Metabolic Surgery is located on the second floor of the Main Building at Jefferson Health – Warminster.
