Abington Health Physicians Welcomes Evan Guthrie, MD
ABINGTON, PA (August 11, 2016) – Abington – Jefferson Health is pleased to announce that Evan Guthrie, MD, has joined Bi-County Medical Associates. Guthrie specializes in Family Medicine, with special interests in skin conditions, women’s health, homebound-patient health and LGBT patient care.
Guthrie attended Kenyon College in Gambier, OH, where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry. He earned a Doctorate of Medicine from the Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University, and he completed his residency in Family Medicine at Abington Hospital. Guthrie is board certified in Family Medicine.
Guthrie is a member of the Pennsylvania chapter of the American Academy of Family Physicians. He is also a member of the Gay and Lesbian Medical Association, as well as a participant in the Straight for Equality national outreach and education program supporting the LGBT community.
