Ringold Named Director of Advanced Endoscopic Services
ABINGTON, PA (March 18, 2015) — Abington Memorial Hospital is pleased to announce that Daniel A. Ringold, M.D., has been named director of Advanced Endoscopic Services.
Dr. Ringold specializes in all advanced endoscopic procedures, including endoscopic ultrasound, advanced endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), endoscopic treatment of malignant obstructions, endoscopic treatment of Barrett’s esophagus, endoscopic mucosal resection of large polyps and staging of gastrointestinal tumors. He is board certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology.
A graduate of the University of Southern California’s Keck School of Medicine, Ringold completed a fellowship in gastroenterology at the Barnes-Jewish Hospital of Washington University in addition to a fellowship in therapeutic endoscopy at the University of Colorado. Ringold has been a member of the Division of Gastroenterology since 2009. He is based at Abington Memorial Hospital and is available for inpatient consultations and procedures as well as outpatient procedures.
