Albert Frey Joins Lansdale Hospital
as Director of Nutrition & Environmental Services
Lansdale, PA (May 27, 2008) – Albert Frey has joined Lansdale Hospital as the hospital's new Director of Nutrition & Environmental Services. In his new position, Frey is responsible for managing the nutrition and environmental services for the hospital. He brings to this position a wealth of food service experience and knowledge in a healthcare setting.
Frey comes to the 125-bed acute care hospital with over 15 years of food service experience in the healthcare field, most recently with the Greater Hazelton Health Alliance in Hazelton, PA where he was the General Manager of Nutrition Services. Before that, he worked as the Executive Chef at Lehigh Valley Hospital and Health Network.
"His extensive food service experience will be a real asset at Lansdale as we continue to enhance services at the hospital," says Katie Farrell, COO at Lansdale Hospital.
Frey is a graduate of Johnson and Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island where he received his A.O.S. degree in Culinary Arts. He is a member of the American Culinary Federation.
Lansdale Hospital is a 125-bed, acute care general hospital that provides a comprehensive range of inpatient and outpatient healthcare services. The facility includes a 24-hour Emergency Department, a 13-bed Acute Rehabilitation Unit, a Sleep Care Unit and a Wound Care Center.
