You are required to have IRB review and approval prior to initiating any changes.
Mandatory Human Research Protections Training
All current research staff and potential researchers are required to complete the Collaborative Institutional Training Initiatives (CITI) training prior to submitting your research for review by the IRB.
For retrospective chart reviews or specimen (research not involving direct contact with human subjects) select the research with data or laboratory specimens - ONLY training.
For prospective studies, you should select the Basic Course for biomedical or social and behavioral research, good clinical practice course and Health Information Privacy and Security (HIPS) course - information for investigators.
Please submit your training certificate to the IRB with your packet for IRB review.
