Located on the ground floor of the hospital, the Fitness Center is open twenty-four hours a day for use by all hospital personnel.
Resident Organized Events Monthly
Residents and fellows gather in various local and center city Philadelphia locations to relax and have fun together outside the hospital. When time permits, some residents gather for cricket and basketball games. Annually, the department invites the residents and fellows to a holiday party, international dinner and annual welcome resident picnic.
The Gerstadt Child Care Center
The Gerstadt Child Care Center is located on Old York Road, directly across from Jefferson Abington Hospital, near the intersection of Old York Road and Woodland Avenue. Opened in 2003, the Gerstadt Center provides convenient, on-site child care for Jefferson Abington Hospital employees and students, who receive tuition discounts and priority enrollment.
