Hospital Volunteering

About Abington Hospital's Hospital Volunteer Program

At Abington Hospital – Jefferson Health, volunteers are a significant part of the health care team. More than 1,100 volunteers help in various roles at the hospital's main and adjunct campuses and in physician practice offices around the community.

We appreciate your interest in helping others, and will try to find an assignment that meets your needs and supports the staff and patients of Abington. There are opportunities for you to serve during the day, in the evening and on weekends. Generally, a minimum of a once-a-week commitment for six months is preferred, although some short-term, project assignments are available.
