I was recently discharged from Abington Memorial Hospital, I was admitted through the Emergency Room. From the moment I walked through the doors I was treated with the utmost respect and compassion. Colleen, my ER nurse, was knowledgeable, compassionate and always had a smile on her face, she made me feel very much at ease. She held my hand, something not all nurses take the time to do. Dr. Nelson was just as compassionate. I was admitted for observation to the Buerger unit on the 3rd floor, I wish I could remember everyone's names. Angela was my night nurse, an angel in disguise, I cannot thank her enough, she helped me through some sleepless nights. Lindsay and Sara on day shift were just as sweet and kind. Abington is truly blessed to have such wonderful caring nurses. I do wish I could remember everyone's names, the CNA's and transport techs were just as thoughtful, nothing was too much trouble. Thank you for taking such good care of me.
