Recovery Coaching Service
Recovery Coaching is a non-therapeutic service provided to individuals within the community in an effort to reduce homelessness and hospitalizations of those suffering from severe and persistent mental illness.
We provide services that promote a higher level of independent living and partner with individuals to coordinate the following:
- Mental health treatment
- Income support and entitlements
- Rehabilitation services
- Socialization and peer support
- Family and community support
- Physical health care
- Protection and advocacy
- Crisis intervention (available 24-hour/seven-day-a-week.)
Our program is open to all Montgomery County residents who are currently receiving treatment for a chronic mental illness. Typically, such individuals have difficulty maintaining support with traditional clinic-based services and are prone to crisis.
If an individual does not qualify for recovery coaching, case management is still available to them at the Creekwood Center. The Creekwood Center provides a service case manager who can work in similar capacity on an as-needed basis.
