Adult Day Services
Many people struggle to balance family, work and the responsibilities of caring for an aging or ailing relative. Many have found that Adult Day Services is an economic and family-friendly alternative to in-home care, care in a nursing home or assisted living facility. Adult Day Services gives our clients the freedom to remain vital members of their community and family, while giving purpose and structure to their day. For caregivers, Adult Day Services offers piece of mind, security and assistance in balancing life and care giving responsibilities.
Qualified, well-trained and caring staff provides you or your loved one with a wide range of health, rehabilitation and social services. Meaningful, enjoyable and personalized activities are hallmarks of both centers. Feelings of isolation and depression are reduced when socialization and creativity are encouraged in the daily activities of the center.
A medical model of care, each center is staffed with a full-time registered nurse who provides health screenings and care oversight that fit the needs of each client. The nurse can provide feedback to family members and the client’s physician on newly developed symptoms or a change in health status, often avoiding a hospitalization.
