We help patients with movement disorders related to Parkinson’s disease, essential tremor, restless leg syndrome, Huntington’s disease, Tourette’s syndrome, tics, muscle overactivity and other conditions.

Movement Dr.Our specialists treat complex movement problems caused by brain cell changes related to disease or disorder. These include: excessive or too much movement; lack of movement (not from weakness or paralysis); involuntary or uncontrollable movement; lack of automatic or purposeful movement.

At the Movement Disorders Center, we have neurologists, neurosurgeons, urologists, physical therapists, occupational therapists and speech pathologists on our team. We are committed to improving each patient’s quality of life.

Movement Disorders Treatments

Individualized treatment plans are based on thorough neurological assessment. We are highly experienced with the latest advanced treatments for movement disorders, including botulinum toxin (Botox) injections for muscle spasms and deep brain stimulation (DBS), a minimally invasive procedure that can control tremors.

Patients have opportunities to access new treatments through our participation in clinical trials.
