2011 Clio Healthcare Awards
AMH’s recent print advertising campaign produced by Devito/Verdi, the Manhattan-based advertising agency working with Abington, won five Clio Healthcare Awards, including a silver award in the Print category. The campaign also went on to win bronze awards for three other print ads, and one for the entire newspaper campaign.
2011 Web Marketing Association Award for “Outstanding Website”
The Sore Score, the Orthopaedic and Spine Institute’s interactive pain management tool, on amh.org – was selected as an “Outstanding Website” at the 2011 Web Marketing Association Awards.
2011 Healthcare Advertising Awards “Best in Show”
AMH’s 2011 radio advertising campaign was awarded "Best in Show" at the 28th Annual Healthcare Advertising Awards, presented by the Healthcare Marketing Report.
The winning radio series, "Brain Injury/Breast Cancer/Heart Attack," was one of 16 entries recognized as "Best in Show," out of more than 3,500 total entries.
In addition, the Orthopaedic & Spine Institute was honored with an award for our print advertising campaign in the 28th Annual Healthcare Advertising Awards competition, sponsored by the Healthcare Marketing Report. The Report is a national publication. A panel of judges from across the United States reviewed all 4,000 entries for creativity, quality, message effectiveness, consumer appeal, graphic design and for ad impact.

AMH was the recipient of eight awards, including three top prizes, at the 2011 Aster Awards. The Aster Awards – honoring excellence in healthcare marketing – recognized Abington’s print, radio and television campaigns from the past year.
2010 Aster Awards and Healthcare Advertising Awards
AMH received multiple honors from both the 27th Annual Healthcare Advertising Awards and the 2010 Aster Awards, two healthcare advertising competitions. "The Power to Heal" campaign, produced by Devito/Verdi, the Manhattan-based advertising agency working with Abington, won seven of the eleven awards.
Abington and Devito/Verdi took home Gold at the Healthcare Advertising Awards in the Television Series category for "The Power to Heal" campaign, the Silver award in Radio for a spot promoting Abington's Neurosciences Institute, and the Bronze prize in the Outdoor Transit/Billboard category for an advertisement featuring the Human Motion Institute. "The Power to Heal" campaign also garnered two Merit awards, one for the Newspaper Series and the other for the Radio Series. Abington's community publication, Touching Your Life, also received Merit recognition for an External Publication.
At the Aster Awards, Abington and Devito/Verdi received five more prizes, including Gold awards for both a Rosenfeld Cancer Center commercial in TV/Video Advertising and for an ad promoting Colon Cancer treatment in Newspaper Advertising. Silver awards were received for three of the hospital's "The Power to Heal" campaign ads, including one for Outdoor Transit Series and one for TV/Video Advertising Series. A radio advertisement promoting treatment for Ovarian Cancer also took home Silver in the Radio category.
2007 Aster Awards and Healthcare Advertising Awards
AMH was honored with a Merit Award for a Magazine Advertising/Series from the 24th Annual Healthcare Advertising Awards, as well as a Silver Award from the 2007 Aster Awards.
The advertising campaign judged for the Healthcare Advertising Awards, featured inanimate objects illustrating a specific service or initiative at AMH. One ad included an image of a pin to highlight the precision of Radiation Oncology treatments in the fight against cancer.
The 2007 Aster Award competition, hosted by Marketing Healthcare Today and Creative Images, Inc., featured approximately 3,000 entries. Abington Memorial Hospital earned the Silver Award after scoring in the top 12 percent of the judging process. The hospital's winning entry was a physician-marketing piece, featuring the hospital's cancer care specialists.
