Prayers

Psalm 23

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.

He maketh me to lie down in green pastures:

He leadeth me beside the still waters.

He restoreth my soul: He leadeth me in the

paths of righteousness for his name's sake.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the

shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art

with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of

mine enemies: Thou anointest my head with oil;

my cup runneth over.  Surely goodness and mercy

shall follow me all the days of my life:

and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

Serenity Prayer

by Reinhold Niebuhr

God, grant me the serenity to accept the things

I cannot change, the courage to change the things

I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.  Amen

In Thanks

by Rebbe Nachman of Breslov

My God, it has taken me time,

But I'm finally learning to trust You.

When I called, You answered;

When I cried, You sent relief;

When I was in need,You came through.

You are there for me in every instance.

I need only look, think and understand,

And I can always find You;

There You are, always ready to help.

Thank You, God, for waiting for me.

The Lord's Prayer

Our Father who art in Heaven

Hallowed be thy name

Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done

On Earth as it is in Heaven

Give us this day our daily bread

And forgives our trespasses

As we forgive those who trespass against us

And lead us not into temptation

But deliver us from Evil

For Thine is the Kingdom,

And the Power and the Glory

Forever.  Amen.

In the Name of Allah

In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious,

Most Merciful Praise be to Allah,

The Cherisher and Sustainer of the Worlds,

Most Gracious, Most Merciful;

Master of theDay of Judgment.

Thee do we worship, and Thine aid we seek.

Show us the Straight Way,

The way of those on whom Thou has bestowed

Thy Grace,Those whose (portion) is not wrath,

And who go not astray. Amen
