Pastoral Care Services
Pastoral Care Services are available for patients and family members/friends at both Abington Memorial Hospital and at Lansdale Hospital. These services can help with spiritual and emotional needs and concerns. Our chaplains provide interfaith ministry and will be understanding, compassionate and respectful.
A chaplain is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year at Abington Memorial Hospital to respond to emergencies, crises and urgent spiritual care needs. Call 215-481-2000 and ask the operator for the on-call chaplain. Non-emergent referrals can be communicated to the Pastoral Care Services office during normal weekday hours at 215-481-2700 for response by the next weekday morning. The Pastoral Care Services and Palliative Care office is located in suite 201 of the Dixon Building, located across the street from the Widener Entrance on Horace Avenue.
A chaplain is on call 24 hours a day at Lansdale Hospital and is available to minister to persons of all faiths. At your request, the chaplain will contact your priest, pastor or rabbi for you. You may contact the hospital chaplain by calling 215-361-4417, or ask your nurse manager to contact him for you.
