Wild Berry Sauce

8 servings


1 1/2 pints strawberries, hulled and sliced
1 pint blueberries, picked over and washed
1 pint raspberries, washed
1 cup sugar
2 tablespoons cornstarch
6 tablespoons orange juice
1/2 cup Triple Sec® liqueur


  1. Before heating on the stove, stir all the ingredients together in a saucepan until the cornstarch is dissolved.
  2. Cook over moderately low heat, stirring often, until mixture comes to a boil and thickens.
  3. May be prepared a day ahead. Serve warm or at room temperature with stuffed french toast.
