The Abington - Jefferson Health 31 Day Challenge

About the #AJH31DayChallenge

Abington - Jefferson Health invites you to join them in the AJH 31 Day Challenge. This month-long event was developed by the Abington - Jefferson Health clinical dietitians and dietetic interns to highlight the importance of proper nutrition and physical activity. It encourages participants to make small, but long-term changes to their diets and lifestyles, which can improve overall health and well-being. Drawings will be held to award prizes at the end of the event.

Our daily challenges provide health tips and ideas focused on consuming fewer calories, making informed food choices, and getting daily exercise in order to achieve and maintain a healthy weight, reduce the risk of chronic disease and promote overall health.

This year, we are excited to feature our All Stars from 2015, along with AJH dietitians, in our daily challenges.

How to Take the Challenge

  • Like Abington – Jefferson Health on Facebook
  • Follow Abington – Jefferson Health on Instagram and Twitter
  • Follow the challenges posted daily from March 1 to March 31
  • Take photos of your completed challenges
  • Post them on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter
  • Make your posts public
  • Tag your photos #AJH31DayChallenge so we can find them!

You can also participate by taking a photo of your completed challenge and sharing it with us in the comments section of the corresponding challenge post on the AJH Facebook page.

Each time you complete a challenge, your name will be added to the drawing. (1 completed challenge = 1 entry; 31 completed challenges = 31 entries.) Increase your chance of winning by completing all of the challenges.


  • Grand Prize: NutriBullet 12-Piece High-Speed Blender set, a gift certificate for five yoga classes, and a $100 gift card
  • Second Drawing: A gift certificate for five yoga classes, and a gift certificate for a 1-hour massage
  • Third Drawing: Fit & Fresh containers, and a $25 gift card to Giant food stores
