After Hours

One of our surgeons is always available for emergencies 24 hours a day, seven days a week.  If you find it necessary to contact us outside our normal office hours, the answering service will forward emergencies to the surgeon on call.  Your call will be returned at the earliest opportunity.  If you are experiencing an emergency, please call 911, go to the Emergency Trauma Center at Abington Hospital, the emergency room at Abington - Lansdale Hospital, or proceed to the nearest emergency room.

Prescriptions and Referrals

All prescriptions should be requested during normal office hours.  Prescriptions will be refilled as medically indicated.  If you need to renew a prescription:

Telephone your request into the office during normal working hours - Monday through Friday at  215-481-4200. Follow the instructions given.

Please allow 24-48 hours for the prescription to be processed.

Insurance and Claim Forms

We participate with most insurance plans and will submit claim forms on your behalf for services rendered.  Our staff will ask about your coverage at each visit and will discuss payment responsibilities with you.  Please understand that we do this to assure a smooth experience at your first appointment and throughout the course of your care.

We understand that insurance coverage and rules change annually.  Please feel free to discuss any insurance questions with our staff.  Please notify us promptly of any changes in your name, insurance coverage, address, telephone or employment.

Payment for office visits is expected at the time of service. We accept Visa, MasterCard, and Discover credit cards.

Hospital Admissions

Our practice is proud to be affiliated with Abington-Jefferson Health and its highly qualified medical staff. We have great confidence in the specialists, ancillary services and inpatient care at Abington Hospital. Should patients need hospitalization, our physicians will be involved in the coordination of your care and will work with attending physicians, specialists and other clinicians. As a teaching facility, Abington Hospital is committed to training the next generation of physicians and residents who may be involved in your care. When you are discharged, you will receive detailed discharge instructions and your physician will get a report summarizing the care you received. To ensure appropriate follow-up, we encourage you to contact our office to schedule an appointment to update your medication list and answer any questions you may have regarding your hospitalization.
