After Hours

One of our doctors is always available for emergencies 24 hours a day, seven days a week.  If you find it necessary to contact us outside our normal office hours, the answering service will forward emergencies to the doctor on call.  Your call will be returned at the earliest opportunity.  If you are experiencing an emergency, please call 911, go to the emergency room at Abington – Lansdale Hospital, the Emergency Trauma Center at Abington Hospital – Jefferson Health or proceed to the nearest emergency room.

Prescriptions and Referrals

All prescriptions and referrals should be requested during normal office hours.  Prescriptions will be refilled as medically indicated.  If you need to renew a prescription or request a referral.

Telephone your request into the office during normal working hours - Monday through Friday at 215-675-8847. Follow the instructions given.

Please allow 48 hours for the prescription or referral request to be processed.

Insurance and Claim Forms

We participate with most insurance plans and will submit claim forms on your behalf for services rendered.  Our staff will ask about your coverage and will discuss payment responsibilities with you.  Please understand that we do this to assure a smooth experience and throughout the course of your care.

If your insurance is an HMO, you will need a referral to see a specialist.  Please give us 48 hours notice to process this request once approved by your provider.

We understand that insurance coverage and rules change annually.  Please feel free to discuss any insurance questions with our staff.  Please notify us promptly of any changes in your name, insurance coverage, address, telephone or employment.

Hospital Admissions

Our practice is proud to be affiliated with Abington Hospital.  We have great confidence in the specialists, ancillary services and inpatient care available at both hospitals.  While not actively managing hospitalized patients, your doctor will be involved in the coordination of care and will work with other specialists on the hospital staff to assist with diagnosis and treatment and follow-up care.

Should our patients need hospitalization, we will accommodate your preferences wherever possible and make every effort to provide you with the highest quality of care available to meet your health care needs.  When you are discharged, we will get a report summarizing the care you received, and what medications you have been prescribed. We will provide follow-up care to your hospitalization.
