MADIT-RIT - Multicenter automatic defibrillator implantation trial: reduce appropriate therapy. The primary objective of the study is to determine if dual-chamber ICD or CRT-D devices with high rate cutoff (MADIT-RIT-B) and/or long delay (MADIT-RIT-C) are associated with fewer patients experiencing in appropriate therapies (ATP or shock) than standard programming (MADIT-RIT-A) during post-implant follow-up of patients with indication for primary prevention device therapy.
