With strong teaching in daily morning report, noon-time conferences, weekly general medicine and subspecialty grand rounds as well as the broad clinical exposure obtained on rotations, our residents do exceptionally well on the ABIM board examination. Education is the core of our program as evidenced by our activities:

  • Morning Report:
    • Occurs daily for all residents and students.
    • Each month with different subspecialty focus blended with general medicine
    • Attended by two or more faculty, including sub specialists
    • Daily discussion of internal medicine board review question
    • Monthly palliative care focused session

    • Occurs weekly
    • Chief resident run
    • Intern-level teaching and learning

    • Daily
    • Subspecialty topics
    • Safety and Quality discussions monthly
  • Grand Rounds
    • Weekly
